FAQ

Is "the Right Track" any good for me to ride with at home?

posted 30 Jan 2010 06:02 by Equiste Administrator

Yes. The exercises are designed for both individuals and for a group of riders. The aim of the exercises are to create a plan for the horse and rider to achieve a good result at the end of a training session. The horse and rider should feel more a working partnership at the end of each session.

Is one exercise enough for each session?

No. It is suggested for a fit horse and rider that 2 - 3 of 'The RightTrack' exercises over a 1 hour training session should be enough.

Can I just pick any 3 exercises and work on them in a session?

It is suggested that there is a warm up exercise first followed by a trot, then trot/ canter exercise, and allow time for cooling the horse down before finishing the session.
